He had an injury in his neck that didn’t allow him to do his normal turn through the ball. That’s why he swung like this on Fri and Sat at the Players. He improvised trying to keep the ball on line. He lost lots of speed on the ball, but it worked until his neck improved for a Sunday charge.

He’s just athletically making sure he gets the clubface onto the ball. We aren’t robots. Each swing each lie is different. He’s just adjusting athletically to make it do what he wants. I think it’s great if he doesn’t hurt himself even more.
