Hey guys, here is how I tanned and mounted the Copperhead skin. I don't think it was big enough to make a good hat band out of, so I will just use it as a wall decoration. Thanks for watching, and God bless.

Friend gave me his dead gaboon viper. Have it in the freezer. Beautiful pattern on that thing. It's gonna look brilliant in my study.

I've never been so glad for insomnia in my life! Found this and just binge watched the channel. Oh, what I would give to have you as a neighbor 😂

This is exactly how our forefathers encorporated every aspect of an animal from dinner to decorations. Jon your doing a great job showing everyone what can be created with some time and imagination.

Looks great, my friend. As long as it's done the way you want it done, then it's done the way it should be done. Your yard. Your snake. Your trophy!!

Thanks for taking us along on this adventure from start to finish. Well, almost. Hope to see a shot of it hanging on the wall. :-)

That is just how I did mine bro, I would say what ever works. I think the soak is about cleaning more than preserving, but I am not an expert.

Ive seen people leave more of the belly skin on it while it dries so that they can cut the skin away from the staples for cleaner edges and not have to pull the staples out and risk hurting the good part of the skin. Great video man

Definitely a nice piece of work man! I found one coiled up at my front door yesterday as I was walking my dogs out the front door. Glad they didnt get hit but luckily they got past it before something bad happened. Anywayz it sits in a bottle of glycerin and rubbing alcohol now! I have cats too so I was surprised to see it at my front door. My cats usually take care of them kinda things. I think im feeding the cats too good? Luckily I had my machete close by for the dispatch! Thanks for the post and info man! Loved it! Mine is going on a knife sheath!

Great job Jon! The last one we did we used another method with some resin and encased the skin within the resin. I wish we had pics of it but it sold faster than had planned but next one will sure document. Thanks for sharing.

I'm normally not a big fan of animal trophies. But, you really did this skin justice. Well done and nothing wasted. I'm also very glad you got it before it got you!
