1- what does it look like after it cools back down? 2- Do healing properties diminish over the life of the coating?

I had a bad etching from a bird dropping. I could not remove it. I tried buffing it out with DA puffer and still unsuccessful. I did this technique and it worked and it never came back

What happens when it cool down, as with rotary with heat all scratch disappears until it get cold and reappear

EngineeringExplained did something similar on Xpel PPF with Fusion ceramic coating, but instead of a dry towel they used a metal bristled brush, and it also self-healed with a heat gun.
Can you do the same experiment with a metal bristled brush?
