I'm sick of people saying she was killed, her death was a symbolism for tory's main motive throughout the series, that she has to fight for everything she's ever had, a motive she had forgotten due to her confidence being diminished by silver and Kim, her mothers death was meant to open tory's eyes

Blood clots can be caused by blunt force trauma, aka kreese beating her mom to death. At the point he’s at right now in the season where he literally “killed” Johnny just to get what he wanted, it wouldn’t surprise me if he did this to turn Tory. There’s also the obvious fact that the camera focused in on her fist, which implies there was a fight.

I never believed it for a second. This is worse than when people were spreading rumors Tory’s Dad is Mike Barnes just because her aunt described her Father having a “short temper” like Barnes.

I think he killed Tory’s mother cause her moms hand was a fist and I think that her mother was trying to fight back and actually knew some karate

My theory is that Tory will become Kreese's weakness. Kove said he'll still be dark as ever in Part 2 but goes through an amazing arc. Part 3 he comes full circle, and apparently people who want him to get his wish of being a good man to those like Tory will come true.

In this sense the writers said Kreese was already growing a warm spot for Tory in Season 4 and 5. Her mother passing is something Kreese literally says to her that he went through in Season 3. So their dynamic will be at an all time high.

Plot twist ; Kresse killed her mom and the doctor said she had a blood clot cause the snake venom which Kresse killed he must’ve but some of the venom in Tory’s moms blood

After watching part 2, I don’t think it was Kreese. If her mom really was murdered, I think the most likely candidate is *[Part 2 spoiler warning, scroll at your own risk]*













Ok I warned you, I think the most likely person to have killed her (If anyone) is Terry Silver. Considering the fact that he hired a goon to knock out Daniel and lock him up in a dog cage makes me think there’s a chance he hired that same person to kill her mom. Again, we get absolutely no hints about her mom possibly being murdered in part 2, so there’s also a good chance that she really did just die from a polmunary embolism like the doctor said, but if anyone did kill her, it’s likely gonna end up being Silver.

I think people are reading too much into the fist. It just meant she went down fighting, *metaphorically*. I know CK can be a little cartoonish, or "heightened" as Ralph Macchio likes to put it, but Kreese becoming a murderer fresh after escaping jail for a crime he didn't commit is a bit much, even for the over-the-top standards of this show! Besides, Kreese knows the pain of losing a mother. Why would he deliberately inflict that on Tory when she's one of the few people left whom he cares about?

I think it might’ve been Silver that killed Tory’s mom and not Kreese. The doctor said that she died from a blood clot in the lung, blood clots can be caused by shortness of breath. And wasn’t there a move that was specifically designed to take the opponent’s breath away? That’s right, Terry used the Silver Bullet to kill Tory’s mother. If homeless Kreese could break out of prison then rich Bond-villain-looking Terry Silver can easily break out. It’s unaware if Kreese also knows the Silver Bullet but since we saw Terry teaching it I think that it was him.

No. The fist was there to inspire/motivate Tory to continue fighting no matter what, wherever it be a disease or in a fight. Tory’s mother seemingly getting better was used to showcase that Tory’s life may be getting back on track but it was taken all away to show the harsh reality of life, no one murdered an old woman in a karate teen show

Tory's mum died from pulmonary embolism which a side effect of Tamoxifen (an anti-cancer drug which contains estrogens. Estrogens might be the cause of pulmonary embolism.

My theory is that the woman (i forgot her name the sensei) killed torys mom or it was either terry silver using the silver bullet or some snake venom
