how to get the mace in minecraft 1.21!

I love how the mace is wind elemental while the sword and bow are paired with fire, and the trident with electric/lightning
But I wish we get an ice enchantment for maybe the axe and crossbow

My theory I made myself is correct.
When you get near the ominous vault, you know how the item inside changes every second or less? Yeah, just wait till the heavy core comes by and immediately use the ominous key on the vault. I got like six maces using that method. Please like this AND TRY IT so that people can see it and use it. :D

The fact that this entire once a year update is almost entirely just about one structure kinda bums me out.

It would be like if 1.21 just added trail ruins or 1.20 just added ancient cities (except I think ancient cities are actually cooler even if that was the whole update)

I actually hate the loot tables. After fully looting 2 different chambers both of them with the trial omen, the trial spawner may or may not give you an ominous key only to use it only to get a couple measly emeralds and slowness arrows….

I know that the regular vaults can only be opened once per player, but is it the same for the ominous vaults? If it is, I can see trying to find the heavy core is going to be a huge pain in the.... err... map locating department due to the number of trial chambers that you will need to find to get the core. I'm just thinking back to Silentwisperer having to find about a million ancient cities to try to find the silent trim (silence trim...??? 🤔)

Erm wattles did you Know that you can see inside the ominous vault if your Reaction time is quick enough and the heavy core pops up and you open it before it changes you can get it

Its not Based on Luck its based of reaction time :)

Mace is so nerfed its kinda pointless in survival to be honest. It should be easier to get at this point.
