Bret Hart was picked by Vince to carry the WWE.  If Stephanie didn't want Triple H he would probably have had a career like a slightly better Christian by now.

I don't always agree with Bret Hart, but totally agree with him here. His sentiments were exactly what I said when I found out the result as well. Seemed a bit too "convenient" to me.
