Today, Craig and Celeste taste fruit off a Cecropia tree growing at our farm for a couple of years now. This tree was planted as a 3g tree in 2021. It grows very quickly. Trees are propagated by airlayering.

Sulcata Grove is our 2 acre, backyard food forest. We grow over 60 varieties of bananas along with many fruit trees.

I’ve heard here in FL it’s good for goats, chop n drop & being sold for ppl to add to a food forest. This review made me giggle 😁

Confused… most other videos you see people pulling the outside skin off the fingers (not sure how to word this lol). So does it taste ok or are you ok to eat the whole finger? Not just the skin?

Great video. When you say "cold sensitive" how cold have you actually seen it be bothered by? We got down to 34 last week here in FL & it didn't seem to bother it at all! Which is great! But i am curious if you've seen colder, bother it. Also, have you ever pruned it, (tipped it)? Mine is one straight, 6ft tall branch. I am afraid to harm it if i tip it, But i obviously want more branches. :) Any suggestions would be appreciated. TYSM :)

great video... just a tip get a light ring or a "beauty light". they are inexpensive and make a big difference... or maybe you have one and it just needs to be closer. I'd watch you guys. I'll check other vids to see if you already did it and to see your other video. also I don't want to hear you eat
