Hahahaha! I have done many of those things myself. I switched to a Pyne string ligature. Have not broke a reed on my ligature in over 20 years! Best decision ever.

Its the bass clarinet in A at the end for me. Plus the break of the reed with the ligature too..

At least when you guys break a reed you can probably replace it. As an oboe player, breaking a reed feels like I’ve lost a child or a really expensive piece of jewelry.

Assembling clarinet is probably the hardest one out of all these yet, for me 😀 my hand hurts so bad every time i do it

Yes, this happens to me. Especially squeaking while we're playing something and I'm like "oh shoot-" and the other clarinetist in my section just looks over at me.

One time I fell on the floor of the band room while carrying my clarinet, and everyone was like "are you ok??" but from the back of the crowd of people I heard one person shout "IS THE CLARINET OK??" Idk who it was but they have their priorities straight lol, I was thinking the same exact thing

One time in band I said out loud "wow I can't belive I've never broken a reed" and then while putting the ligature on I proceed to stab and break not one, but 2 reeds in a row 💀

I can't say I have ever mixed up my A and B flat. However, my first A I played on the upper keys completely fell off while playing Festive Overture. I eventually learned the to check that instruments screws all the time. I used it because it was the best sounding a the school had
