What my teachers did:
Gym: she gave me water and called the nurse
English: said “ go wash your face and come back fast the lesson is important it’s in your tests”
Science: she stayed with me and called the nurse gave me water told me to breathe talked to me until I was better
Art : yelled at me told me to shush and go to the bathroom

Accurate. This is exactly pretty much how they responded to my panic attacks. The English teacher especially and she said I was “distracting the class” so I just walked out on her and went a finished my panic attack in the bathroom.

when my teacher was making us read the textbook . When it was my turn I stood up from my seat and started reading (well I was like a stuttering mess ) I think I said only like 3-4 words . Soon the panic attack started creeping in . I started breathing heavily and I started shaking like a leaf and guess what my teacher did she made me come in front of the class and told me to read . At this point my legs grew weak I couldn’t speak nor could I breathe BUT MY TEACHER MADE STAND THERE FOR MORE THAT 20 MINUTES TRYING TO MAKE READ INFRONT OF THE CLASS WHILE I WAS HAVING A WHOLE GODDAMN PANIC ATTACK . And this all happened on the second day of school

I had a panic attack when the hole school was in onr small hall and i got taken out, this wasn't new to me it was just embarrassing, but my pe teacher confert me and my art teacher was so supportive.❤❤

What my teachers did:

Gym: asked if I was fine and said that I should take a rest ( this was when he was a cafeteria monitor)

English: stayed next to me and called the nurse

Social studies: literally nothing 😅

Home ec: gave me hugs, reassuring words, and walked me to the nurse and stayed with me even though that meant that she was going to be late to her next class ❤

Science: asked if I was okay and let me go to the nurse. Constantly checked up on me through the next couple of weeks afterward. ❤

Art: had me sit down and comforted me

My history teacher is like the art teacher and is super nice he’s always been nice and helpful

My music teacher was the only one that was still nice to me when I was having a panic attack. She talked me trough it like a friend would do. Im so grateful for that.

One time I had a panic attack att school PE because I was being yelled att and shamed for how I look in school and I fell to the floor and started crying and I couldn’t breath my bestie helped me and my PE teacher did not help he was just drinking coffee

Art and gym had very good responses, getting help and also making sure that the person is ok whilst trying to calm them down👍
