We will still keep discussing this even when the whole world is on fire, leaders will meet and keep fixing targets for 2050 and when 2050 comes, we will fix for 2100. Billionaires have already given up on earth and focusing on Mars

The modeling and predictions are actually conservative. The effects of global warming will probably be more pronounced than predicted.

Ban imports of Hardwood from The Amazon. Rich Canadians buy it for their Decks.

Probably doesn't help billionaires are shooting rockets into space. I would focus on reducing consumption and mandating new products are recyclable.

Look at how many bags of plastic are in one package like a new phone. Most commercial zone areas don't have a designated recycling bin as well.

While not every weather event can be blamed on climate change, there is a point where climate change is making an event more likely to occur. There is no question as the globe warms we will see worsening impacts and we must take actions.

Who could have possibly seen this coming? What's that? Thousands of scientists for over a hundred years? Hmm...

If they're saying it's 1.2 degrees above preindustrial then they've moved the goal post to downplay the problem. The original 1750 preindustrial baseline puts the temperature at almost 2 degrees.

Right to repair, and use of recycled materials should be mandatory. Planting trees should be financed just like Space exploration.

How come there's never a climate critic on CBC? Why not give the public more information and stats so they are better informed about climate change?

Make a go-bag with water and food flashlights get stable shoes, teach how to be prepared for the earth changes, and help and aid where you can. each other. And even if that's the best you can do, that's the best you can do.

Until the US DOD is held accountable and the weather geoengineering program fully exposed, everything else is sheer rubbish!

Sorry but it's too late. We need to take measures 30 years ago but nobody could be inconvenienced so now we'll see at least half the world's population gone in ten years.

Cataclysms are taking place all over the planet. And besides, they sync. A lot of scientists spoke about this at the conference "The Global Crisis. This Already Concerns Everyone." To survive, people around the world need to unite in a new format of interaction. Not in consumption but in creation. Creative society
