The relationship between Bonnie and Rhett is very interesting. Rhett spoils and loves Bonnie like he wants to love and spoil Scarlett if she would only let him.

Clark Gable was the best Rhett Butler ever.

I’ve always loved the way he says “Hello” when he first walked in. I don’t think even he expected to get as carried away by his feelings as he did. And I love the way he sits on the bed; it’s so simple but intimate.

What a gem of a movie! One of the best ever made, maybe the best! ❤

He was honestly a really loving father like 🥺 If only Scarlet had told him earlier how she really felt...

Bonnie even got dimples like Rhett.
This scene melts my heart always.

It’s so frustrating knowing they both love each other during this point. Yet, they are too stubborn and or scared to admit it. Obviously Scarlett is mostly at fault for not admitting her true feelings sooner. i.e. the staircase scene where Scarlett tells Rhett she is pregnant. She was SOO happy to see him when he came back home. Then of course we have this ego war between the two. I still get agitated thinking about how they could have had a better ending only if they had admitted their love sooner…

Nah...she wouldn't leave for Ashley after the pipe Rhett laid last night. She woke up like "Ashley who"?!

The actress who played Bonnie Blue, Cammie King, was also the voice of Faline in Bambi!

Hottest scene in the movie...he was drunk and picked her up and carried her upstairs...that's one satisfied woman waking up lol

In the book its Scarlett that suggests Rhett let Bonnie scream, but when the movie was made, they thought Scarlett already looked bad enough!

She was so happy till he started apologizing and saying he was just drunk .... Personally i would have been offened if a guy started to tell that to me that after we had sex

The thing that's so frustrating is... Rhett never even gave her a chance to explain. What happened at the lumber mill with Ashley was platonic. She'd pretty much gotten over Ashley by this point.

I once met an old woman with Alzheimer's and she genuinely thought I was Clark gable.

“Where’s Mother?” A devastating moment. Scarlett neglects her daughter horribly, especially compared to how Rhett dotes on her, yet Bonnie has no preferences. She loves both her parents equally, and is not happy when either of them is missing.

Scarlett never seemed form a bond with her daughter or even act as a mother role. It was always rhett that doted his daughter.
