most people that "hate" physics dont like the teacher that teaches it. If you have a good physics professors, you will love your degree

1. you chose it out of curiosity, not necessarily for the money
2. interested in physics
3. looking at specific sub-fields of electrical engineering
4. trying to learn things about it outside of class
5. enjoy problem solving
6. have other friends who are electrical engineers
7. desire to be ahead of 99% of students

I’m 23 and returned to school at first for computer science as I did coding for a year before and love it a lot, but I realized I didn’t want to just code and I discovered I genuinely love math with my first semester math class and want to learn how the world works through physics, and I’ve always wondered how things work so I’m pursuing electrical engineering next semester!

I absolutely loved this video! As I watching this video I was very intrigued by your Google Calendar set up. I would love to see an productivity/planning video from you since I struggle with staying on track with scheduling. Thanks as always for the quality videos.

I did EE 30 years ago- the core of EE is Ohm law, the circuitry - everything else is derived from it

I did engineering because i worked as an electrcian and didn't feel like it was a very fulfilling job. Electrical power engineering was the next logical step, and the pay makes the struggle of engineering school worth it.

Ali, excellent video and channel! You basically have to have “the knack” to be a good EE!

Man i will change from mechanical engineering to electerical (communication and electronic ) engineering inshallah due to your videos

I can relate so much to the video about you switch out of mechanical engineering i am having the same symptoms while enjoying my circuit class and lab and found myself watching videos about electronics and electric component include some principles of electromagnetic physics like how the dipole make frequency etc
While hate the guts of the workshops and engineering mechanics class its just not for me
Looks like i need something abstract and cannot be seen to enjoy rather that hand on stuff

Thanks for your videos ,
I'm currently at my second year of Electrical Engineering course 😊

Yes thank you, more content like this please. I hate people thinking of EE, EEE, as just some sort of a programming major to compete with CS, and forget about like the other 80% of the course. I mean If you wanna do coding and get paid a lot ( high level of competition ), just go and do CS or SWE.

This video was really helpful and encouraging. I am interested in emf, Physics, consciousness, and the technology they use to investigate cool shit and I'm interested in quantum physics, too.

I dont know, I love physics and I love programming. But more than anything I love robots.

3:42 I also started mechanical(robotics) eng then switched to electronics eng and now I'm currently switching to electrical 🙈

I’m not going to lie. I love Engineering and the challenge it brings BUT I absolutely hate physics. I don’t know if it was the teacher or if It was cause I was a freshman at the time.

This comes as I came to the realization that I want to switch from Mechanical to Electrical.

Ali and the public in the comment section, would you recommend studying Electrical Engineering part-time while working as a full-time Software Developer?

your videos tricks me to change my major from industrial engineering though i had began the course, it really sounds cool coz i liked physics which i thinks is spiced mathematics 😄

I wanted to build robots, design, build the limbs, make them lifelike, design/model/tailor their behavior etc. All those things. Finding an accredited college is difficult as I've never been to one. I'm in my early 30s but I'm completely lost in getting there to that point and if i graduate from said school i still need to land a job in that field.

Hey brother, what do you think of someone becoming an electrician, maybe even master electrician, and then going into the electrical engineering field? This is my current plan. I just started my apprenticeship.
