Me too. He has been for a while. Easily in my top 5 or 3 favorites of all time

Cal is the perfect Jedi, but in a different way. I believe Cameron perfectly portrays how the average Star Wars fan would see theirselves projected into the Star Wars universe as a padawan. Especially someone who has survived Order 66. He struggles with the dark side and the power it grants him, he fights The Empire wherever he can, he makes friends and allies, as well as enemies as he goes. This makes him a very RELATABLE character. It’s what I loved so much about Anakin, and he was far far less relatable than Cal in terms of power and presence in the cosmos, but still struggles with death and the thought of not being able to save his loved ones, like us all. Cal possesses this too, and Cameron does a great job delivering it. The voice acting and motion capture from Cameron is on par with his work in many other things. He’s a great actor. And I cannot wait for the third game, hopefully it delivers after the departure of Stig

Using the darkside does not mean he's balanced. He's supposed to overcome the darkside.

The light side is balance in and of itself. Cere was balanced.

I’ll have to disagree with the lightsaber technique. He was clearly trained in Form VI, having a good mix of every other form in his fighting style depending on what stance he uses in-game. That’s being said, he’s clearly no master at any technique and falls short enough to not even be considered a jack-of-all-trades

I feel that something that you're missing is that Cal is far from perfect - and in fact, that fact alone was the entire point of Jedi Survivor.

In Fallen Order, Cal's struggle (and mission) was to find the force, and find his place in the galaxy once again. He cut himself off - he lost who he was - and forgot where he came from.

In Jedi Survivor, Cal's struggle was that he became TOO overconfident, and too trusting - and that's what led to the deaths of his friends and loved ones. He did not embrace the darkness, but rather let his emotions overcome him and let the darkness take over. He does not control it - it controls him. His struggle is his emotions, and that is his journey in this game.

Cal is not perfect - and the next game, the final in his trilogy, is likely what will deal with that - whether he will give in, or he will truly find peace and balance in the Force. Only then will he become the "perfect Jedi".

he is not the best light saber duellist but he should've mastered form six since he woudln't really pose a threat to dagan, bode, and rayvis if he hadn't there's just a lvl beyond just normal mastery, I argue he has also with form 4 but probably just high lvls of attainments since he has insane acrobatics in double blade, dashes in single blade, and his soresu is also good those deflections in double blade are not normal... if our mastery definition is like kenobi soresu, yoda attaru and sixth form lvl then no. cere probably taught him all forms 1 - 6, but before that he was train in form 1 and 2. I'd say all six form because what the hell was he doing in that blaster stance... that's fencing very like makashi.

I would agree that he is a great Jedi but I don't think he is a perfect Jedi that category goes to Luke, Kanan, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Anakin, but Cal is a great Jedi don't get me wrong but he is not a perfect Jedi
