actors in musicals have this amazing ability to make it look like they are having the time of their lives but in reality they do this show every day a week in the same way, sometimes even twice a day

Alex is freaking amazing as BJ, he did what Will Smith did with the genie. He knew he wasn’t going to live up to the original so he took it in it’s own direction and I have mad respect for that

Mad props to Alex Brightman. Not just for crushing it, but for having the balls to go hard and fearless knowing he'd be weighed against Michael Keaton. Also mad props to the writers, Perfect, Brown, and King, for having the sense to write ol' beej from the ground up and not try to capture what Keaton did. I feel like this whole production hinged on the decision to do a separate and unique interpretation of the character.

This is such a great display of choreography and lighting, it's so loud and fun. It feels oddly disjointed out of context, but thinking of it with the beginning of the song (and both Girl Scout and the end of Day-O proceeding it, ) it seems like it must be pretty perfect in context. Hope to see it someday!

Edit 2??? Oop: Okay 1, I was joking. It was. A fuckin joke. I just thought calling him Lydia's "chaos uncle" was funny.

2, I know they got married in canon! I *know* that! I'm not an idiot! But, they separated ("til death do us part" very much applies here) at the end of the musical after Lydia killed Beej. They're not together, and they never truly were (sorry, but marrying your friend as a green card thing isn't a real relationship).

3, I wish I could tell y'all that beetlebabes doesn't exist but it absolutely does and I'm sorry that I have to be the one to inform you for that.

Creepy gremlin man dances with 80's goth girl while his magically summoned clones add ambiance. Who is this gremlin goblin man- why do I love him? The lady was also very cute

The way Sophia Anne Caruso sings "A sound that means no more condescending adults hanging around" is just amazing. She's so talented! It's so sad that she isn't in the musical anymore.
