It can be fun to google your home and see what it looks like online, but the problem is other people can do that too. Some criminals may be casing neighborhoods online to plan their next break-ins.

I had our house blurred out once then checked recently and it's not blurred anymore. I have done these steps 3 times but cannot get it to be blurred out again. So much for permanent!

This "idea" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. ANY, criminal knows how to look at a neighborhood and see the income level simply by the way the homes look. I'm positive criminals know how to drive past any "blurred-out" house and see where the windows are located. ....
My advice to home owners is to drive to their local animal shelter and adopt a damn dog or TWO.
THAT way, homeless dogs get a home, and criminals won't get into your house.
AND, I think people should be more mindful of what they buy from eBay's and Amazon's. If criminals are unable to sell stolen property, there won't be an incentive to steal.
