Dave remembers listening to this album quite a bit. He studied that cover for years. Imagine his shock when he finds out that 2 people on the cover are not actually playing on the album. He knew of one, but the second one kind of through him for a loop.

Imagine finding out something you thought to be true for 40ish years was nothing but lies!

Shame on you Mr. Zappa.

Thanks so much for reacting to this one! I usually try to send you a video for reactions, but the studio cut of this particular tune is superior in tone and quality, IMO. I agree with realbser56 in that even though I bought this great album in 1976 and have loved it all these years later, I also came to really appreciate Zappa in my later years. Maybe it's the wisdom and maturity that comes with this growin' old thang. 😎

I’ve only come to appreciate Zappa in my later years. This track was stunningly beautiful and it desperately needed an extended guitar solo. Dave, you have a great memory. Have you ever heard of the band “Lettuce”? Thanks for more great music. ✌️

I also know this LP inside out. I was bout 25 when I began collecting FZ from Columbia House club and dove deep from there. Zoot Allures, We're Only In It/Lumpy Gravy were my first 2, soon followed by Freak Out, Weasels Ripped My Flesh, Burnt Weenie Sandwich and Hot Rats
