Short Circuit Currents According to IEC 60909

Показать описание
In this webinar, given by Lionel Ng at ABB, we look at the IEC 60909 standard. This standard deals with short circuit currents in three-phase AC systems. Calculation of short circuit currents is fundamental in all electrical designs to help protect the system, equipment, and people. Understanding short circuit currents also enables designers to size the components correctly and accurately. Attendees will learn how short circuit currents can be defined manually, with the help of tables, or with the help of calculation software. The examples in this webinar mainly focus on low voltage systems.

Hi! @24:12, why do you need an interlock between the sources if you say that both transformers will feed in parallel? The mechanical interlock is to prevent the two circuit breakers from being closed, i.e. only one of the transformers can supply the bus.
