There are a lot of things that are just as good or better for polymers than just tires. Green trash cans, blue barrels, coolers, mannequins, Janitor's carts etc. It seems like they've bumped some of those up for polymers.

If i remember correctly there is a secret area above one of the bathrooms in that Crack-a-book POI that usually has a small gunbag maybe? Just FYI for the next run through of one.

dye scraps to paint, so if you do a lot of painting scrapping dye saves on having to craft paint.

It really feels like they are bringing it all together, smoothing out the mechanics and getting all the new poi's and quest settings tested out to see how they work for regular players. I honestly haven't got time to dive in, RL is busy, but getting to watch you try it out is wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing the fun. Alpha 21 Hype!!!!

Could you possibly go into options, video settings, and increase the UI Opacity a bit so it's easier to see things when you open the inventory, trader's window, etc? thanks

Contact grenades are particularly good when throwing down from a Horde base wall into a big group. I find I get hurt less when throwing down

Just buy some concrete mix and reinforce weak spots in the horde base.

I wish there were different graphics for weapons too, maybe using dyes. Like weathered, cobbled together, or newly made.

I love the new graphics in this game. I used to do some ReShade on it to give more realistic colors and lighting, but now it looks so good im probably not gonna bother with it.

Who else just found out that stamina STOPS regenerating when you reach 0% hydration? For me, this happened when i HAD TO do a quest to get food and water and money for a waterfilter/dew collector. Luckily i had some murky water, and barely managed to pull through and finish the quest, after drinking 2 murky waters, without getting sick. At least something went my way 😅

Is there a new system now, where once the stamina runs out, you cant run until you have 15+ stamina? Such issues are NOT ideal when waking up maybe 8 enemies on day 3, on run speed and warrior difficulty, with only arm armor, and no points into the weapons i had, because i intend to use the axe as a weapon once i get the fireaxe... I have 2 points in Miner 69er, so i wonder if my level 2 stone axe might work better than the club and bone knife... But that thing doesnt have any power attacks, which means ill have to get close to the zombies more times to take them down, and so ill take more damage, and i dont have a bike, or the desire to WALK to the desert to get aloe for the first aid bandages. Even if i did, i dont have enough water.

At least food is not a problem. With a point in animal tracker and master chef, and the grilled meat recipe, i had 24 grilled meat at the end of day 2 👍

the blue water barrells are great plastic when you break them, not the ones on the water coolers, but the bigger one that lay around

If you find a silencer for the 9mm, you are going to enjoy using it for sneak shots. It's quite AF. Another player uses it to great affect. You do you though. I don't play this one but, I enjoy watching this on being played. Are the magazines replacements for books in this Alpha?

Best way to get polymers is TIRES, and PORTA POTTIES.

I don't know if you will get to read this so long after the vide was posted, but as far as infestation quests go, I don't think the yare as good as you think. Yes you get a special loot container with a few goodies and a reasonable amount of ammo. However you are missing out on the tier loot chest at the end. It will always be one tier lower than the infestation quest is rated for which is a pretty big dip in rewards from that chest. If anythign the total reqards for that POI seems to be abotu the same to me.
