In this video I played, recorded and compared my footage of DBFZ and DBSZ super moves.
Surprisingly, some DBFZ Super Moves look better, but DBSZ wins overall.
Both games are truly visual masterpieces and a treat to watch.

The fact that fighterz is almost 7 years old and it looks so good after these years shows how good fighterz’s artstyle is going to age.

We are so blessed to live in a timeline where we have both of these masterpieces

It's crazy how good DBFZ looks, it's the closest we will ever get to a game that looks almost exactly like the anime

I really don't like how every beam has the same size in Sparking.
The Final Flash being that small feels wrong.

I still think Fighterz looks so good. Literally my dream DBZ game. I don't really think anything will be able to beat it for me.

This is apples and oranges. They both are great in their own right 😊

One of the biggest things holding Sparking Zero back from having really awesome ultimates is the size of the beams. In Fighterz, a beam will literally cover the entire screen but Sparking Zero consists of the same size no matter what.

FighterZ all day, ArcSys did a timeless work.

It’s really not a fair fight to me, because FighterZ has such control over the models and camera angle when animating, they can make it so that every attack looks perfect at all times, physically distorting the characters for some shots to make the actions as clear and impactful as possible. Sparking Zero has a lot of sometimes goofy looking frames that aren’t on screen for long but I notice them way too often, Sparking zero definitely isn’t done poorly, but it can’t compete with ArcSys in terms of animation.

DBFZ will never age <3 The proof is here already. We watched those supers for 6 years and we still dont mind it <3

The best part about fighterz is that they warp the model and have great camera work to make the game look more like the anime. In sparking they don’t do that as much with the most glaring example so far being kefla where one shot at a angle showing off a really flat face

Watching people argue about which looks better seems so pointless. Both games are graphically beautiful.

No matter how good a fully 3D game might look, it will never compare to how ArcSys captures anime motion and art.

As good as Sparking Zero looks, I absolutely adore DBFZ visuals. Genuinely incredible how they managed to make it look straight from the anime and in some parts even a little bit better (in my opinion)

With the amount of characters within Sparking Zero it’s difficult to give same amount the attention to detail to create the perfect charm that Fighterz has in each and every character

SZ just feels like its missing the impact that fighterz has.

Some problems I have with SZ,

SFX is mixed really quietly compared to other sounds for some reason, even when you turn up SFX to 100 in-game. Good example is Tien's Neo Tri-Beam, SZ you can't there's like no SFX for when he fires them. Even in Raging Blast 1/2 and BT3 you could clearly hear the firing sound of each Tri-Beam.

Compared to FighterZ, SZ's supers sometimes have too much slow motion, and hits and explosions lack impact due to no camera shake. Example, see Yamcha's Wolf Fang Fist. SZ's version is slower hits, random slow motion at the end, and no camera shake at all creates a lack of impact to any of the hits.

Also, why are the beams in SZ so thin? Look at Final Flash. I feel like that would be an easy fix.
