German Accusative case meaning or what is accusative case in German language is explained with examples in lesson 15 of A1 German language course for beginners. Accusative case in German language corresponds to the direct object in the sentence. Sentence in German language can have multiple parts or components. These could be subject, verb, direct object, indirect object etc. Accusative case in German language is the direct object of sentence. Direct object receives action from the subject of sentence in German language. Subject of sentence is someone who performs action and is called the nominative case in German language.
