The title: God Does His Part.
It was a momentous day when Roderick received the news of his scholarship to study at a university in France. The excitement was palpable as he packed his bags and bid farewell to his single mother and two brothers, embarking on a journey halfway across the globe from his home in Dominica.
However, as Roderick settled into his new life and classes in France, he sensed an emptiness within. Something was missing. Seeking to fill this void, he attended church the following Sunday but left unsatisfied. He returned the next Sunday, yet the feeling persisted. Then, a profound realization struck him: although his mother had taught him to worship on Sunday, he was convinced in his heart that the true Sabbath was on Saturday.
Before his move, Roderick had a passion for reading the Bible, not just to know God, but to engage in debates with his high school friends. Through these readings, he had come to believe that the seventh day was the Sabbath, but he had never acted on this knowledge. Now, in a foreign land, he wondered if anyone in France observed the seventh-day Sabbath. Recalling that Seventh-day Adventists in Dominica kept the Sabbath, he inquired among his classmates. One of them introduced him to an Adventist from Dominica, and soon Roderick began attending the SDA church.
Roderick did not inform his mother or brothers about his new place of worship. He wondered how they would react. Would his mother be upset? Would his brothers think less of him? The answer came sooner than he expected. Two months after he started worshiping on the Sabbath, Roderick received a letter from his mother. To his astonishment, she wrote that she and his brothers were taking Bible studies with Adventists back in Dominica.
Roderick couldn't believe his eyes. Could it be that despite the vast distance, he and his family were on similar spiritual journeys? He immediately wrote back, sharing that he had been attending an SDA church every Sabbath. His mother and brothers were equally surprised upon receiving his letter.
Just two months later, Roderick's mother and brothers were baptized in Dominica. Two months after their baptism, Roderick himself was baptized in France. In less than a year, their lives had been transformed. Reflecting on the words of the apostle Paul, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Roderick marveled at the changes in his life and the lives of his family.
When Roderick returned to Dominica for his first vacation, he worshipped with his family at the SDA church on Sabbath. They praised God for His work in their lives.
In a testament to his faith and gratitude, Roderick, now an architect, volunteered his services free of charge to design a new building for the Ebenezer SDA Primary School in Dominica. The project, supported by the Thirteenth Sabbath Offering, was a significant endeavor. Roderick looked forward to seeing how God would bless the school. Reflecting on the journey, he said, “Our timing is not God’s timing. All God requires from us is faithfulness. When we are faithful and obedient, God does His part.”

Amen, God works in ways we don’t understand, but He’s always on time.
Welcome to World wide SDA family of God.

Strange that i didn't hear anymore about Christ before the text was quoted. I heard about finding the true Sabbath. Is worshipping on Sabbath equivalent to being in Christ?
