Hi subbies 💕 I am not quitting or anything like that, I still enjoy youtube. This job is something I've wanted since I was 19 years old and I am over the moon to finally begin this new chapter in my life. This will require a lot of time to work full time and study for actuarial exams and classes, but I will still aim to upload a few times a month. I believe this will push me to create better quality content and videos that truly matter to me. iloveyou 🌚

Great video! I'm actually graduating in a couple days and starting my Actuarial consulting job in NYC this summer!

It's definitely a competitive labor market in NYC, but I couldn't see myself anywhere else for right now. I've heard that SUNY Bing has a pretty poor launch pad for act sci, so you're definitely backed up by others there. I went to PSU which has a huge act sci program and I'll graduate summa, so I didn't really have to overcome as much as you in terms of stats.

Big props to you for sticking to your dream and following on your plans for two years! Success comes to those who plan for it and follow through. Good luck on your exams! I know you'll have the dedication to get through them

I graduated in June of 2018 with a degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics from UCLA. Passed Exam P and FM shortly after graduating. I was fortunate enough to get numerous phone screenings and an on-site, but still haven’t received an offer. :( was studying for IFM, but have been slacking due to feeling somewhat defeated. This video actually gave me some hope to keep pushing forward and applying. Thank you for your upload and best of luck with the job!
