I got my new lenses and I was trying s log 2 and surprisingly I got crazy awesome results with it, better than cine4 and I thought I was crazy but after watching your video it was confirmed that indeed S-Log2 is awesome on a6300, thanks for the video !

Like many others I listened to Philip Bloom and went straight to Cine 4 in low light because of the 'horrific noise' when using S-log2 - which is only to be used when preserving highlights in brilliant daylight. Yet I keep on coming across videos like this that stick two fingers up to that presumption. Time to start shooting everything in S-log2 and learning how to grade. I would have thought this was an a7s had I not seen the obvious title.

Love it, just did a test myself last night on SLOG3.
Looks little grainy and noisy but didn't bother me a single bit.

what adaptor did you use to attach the 50? i have a commite adaptor that attaches my canon ef and efs lenses will that work with this to use on the a6300?

Thanks for this video. Could you please upload and give me the link to download the original video? Because youtube always apply some video noise reduction during uploading and processing, so it's not good way to compare video on youtube with video downloaded directly from camera to PC. Yesterday I made low-light video test using S-log2, ISO 6400-12800, overexpose +2ev on my A6300 camera, it is noisy, not much, but I was wondering why my video is "so noisy" compared to yours. Today I tried to upload my video to youtube and that's the thing...When I compare now my video on youtube with yours, I don't see much difference in video noise. Anyway I will be really glad to download your original video. Thx.

no idea how it is that crisp... filmed at 3200 ISO today, same format, and it was noisy as hell

Im using the kitlens shooting in slog2 exposure +2 using the lumetri slog 2 lut, and the grain is really bad even at low iso.. help

sorry but higly doubt its is in those ISOs could you do a video showing you setting up da camera, by filming with your phone or something and showing the raw clip too?
