10:00 soap uses XML which is a markup language where in rest json is not programming language

i have a question, what is it called when we have front end (views) & back end (logic) in the same project like jsp or some magento type app do we call it as SOAP based ?
and when we have different projects for front & back end like Angular & java spring boot is it REST ?
