Don't forget to hit up your local library! They often have fun children's sections and lots of free children's events in addition to all those free books and media!

I've gotten rid of all holiday decor except Halloween, Christmas and a bit for the 4th of July for outside. I'm just over all the clutter I've really paired down a lot and it feels great

My children were always busy with the library activities and the County Rec Dept. All free! We made historic day trips for very little cost. So much time in the yard, picnics, the pool, farmstands, orchards, the garden.
Goodby to cable Homemade treats only! They also liked to hold their own little yardsales!

For the cold treats I bought a popsicle mold. I just freeze berries water and stevia. Super cheap and healthy! But totally feels like a store bought treat

I’m normally only decorate for Christmas and the 4th of July. We are a military family so we are red, white, & blue all year! My girls love books and movies, so this summer we have been going to the library a lot. We have been able to rent some older movies and tv series. Good wholesome stuff!

My kids and I enjoyed weekly visits to the library during the summer.

I agree with you 💯 I don't know if it was because we were home for so long but I just don't feel the need to buy things I really don't need !

Hi from Canada! I as well used to go super over the top with all holidays and especially since covid here...and not having people in. Christmas and halloween are kind of the only two for me. The decor you do put out stands out so much more when theres only a few pieces. Love your channel and would love to see these anti hauls for all seasons!! ❤

I'm from the UK, here I don't think its ever been that big to decorate for seasons etc. Christmas is the only time I decorate and I've always been fairly minimal even before minimising my home. I love looking at other people's homes of places that have loads of decorations and as a child we had loads for Christmas. But mainly its because I'm lazy, can't be bothered to put up and hate taking down and putting away 🤣

I decorate for every holiday…but not like I used to. I put up one sign in my kitchen door each month. 😀

Being a minimalist, I don’t decorate for most holidays or seasons except one and that is Christmas.

I went through a phase that I started decorating more for the holidays/seasons and now I have kept it minimal. I have a huge stash in the storage room but I only bring out a few items. I have to change my decor every year. Love change, cannot have the same item or decoration as last year’s. For example, I would use the moss bunnies this year and then the wooden bunnies next year. And of course I would put them in different areas and display them differently as well. Keeps it exciting.

I decorate my dining and kitchen tables for holidays and seasons. Like you, I have cut back on every surface bursting with decor!

Thanks for sharing! You can also go to the library instead of buying books at all. 😀

My mom used to decorate for every single holiday. Most of the time it was just a center piece for the dining table, but Easter and Christmas she went all out. She's more minimal now, mostly because of her age, but she still does the centerpiece even though it's just her in the house.
I decorate for Christmas and that's it. We have one door wreath that stays up all year and a small tree.

I bought new nail polish for Easter and that's all I'm buying for the year. Or so I keep telling myself lol

I’m minimalish but Christmas is two trees (on different levels of the home) and 8 totes. Every other Holiday is 3 to 5 items on the fireplace mantel and that’s it.

Agree with what you are not buying this summer, great idea. I am interested to know what roll on fragrance you have, used in this video, love how minimal it is!! Many thanks .

I do a tiny bit of "holiday" decor (meaning 2-3 small items - it all fits in one small-ish tote) for the holidays throughout the year, but I do more for fall (my favorite) and Christmas (my kids favorite). I have cut back significantly over the last couple of years. I try to have things that "span" a couple of holidays. The red throw pillows from Christmas stay over for Valentine's. The bright green throw pillows I put out around St. Patrick's work well throughout the summer months, etc...
