My dog is one year old and he loves the berry figs, but not so much the honey figs. Our older dog loves the Verte figs and will walk around the in ground bushes, looking for ripe verte figs. Your Smith tree looks nice. I also have one of them in the ground, and have to cover it in the winter as it's a bit more tender than say, a hardy chicago. It's worth the effort though, because Smith figs are great tasting!

What area of the country do you live in? I just got a Smith (Finally!) and plan to put her in-ground late next Spring after waking up indoors Early.

I live on Coastal North Carolina. She shall reach her full potential and see the Sun from Sunrise till Sunset.
