India Loses Nightingale: Lata Mangeshkar's Mortal Remains To Be Kept At Her Residence

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 today and her body now has been taken to PrabhuKunj where it would be kept for 3 hours from now. Later, her body will be shifted to the Shivaji Park in Mumbai at around 4.30 pm. Her cremation will take place at Shivaji Park.

She was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after she tested positive for Covid-19. She was under treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) over the past couple of weeks. After showing signs of improvement recently, her health condition deteriorated. Unfortunately, she passed away today, leaving the entire nation in a state of grief.

For a couple of days, Lata Mangeshkar was showing continued signs of improvement and her team also came forward asking everyone to pray for her. After fighting it out for weeks in the hospital, Lata Mangeshkar died today.
