BRIGHT WINTER or BRIGHT SPRING?

Which one do you think is better?

Hi friends! I'm back with another comparison video, this time looking at the Brights! High chroma abounds and we see why just a slight difference in temperature, undertone, or hue can mean a great color or a terrible color on someone even if the colors are both extremely high in saturation. Hope you enjoy this video and please leave a comment to let me know what you think. I read every single one and try to respond as much as possible. I love hearing your opinions and about your own personal color journies! Don't forget to subscribe before you head out. It helps my channel grow and reach more people just like you plus you'll know when I post something new! Thanks for being a colorful pal and I'll see you in the next one!

As someone who's trying to figure out whether or not they're a BW your videos are super helpful! I'm really enjoying them.

I relate to this video immensely. As a bright winter, warm colors make my skin look muddy and greasy. While cool colors brings me clarity and push my face forward, if that makes sense 😂

I am a bright spring. Now I understand that better. Tomato red and bright orange are my absolute best colors, along with chrome yellow and gold. But royal blue is also great. I have an olive green and red shawl that takes years off me. My skin is peach, my hair has gold tones and my eyes are dark but with olive starburst. Gold jewelry all the way! Somehow seeing the contrast made the whole idea click.

I wear orange or gold lipstick a lot. I thought I was autumn because of the warm tones, but nope I need high contrast and saturation. Bright spring. Super helpful video.

Do you do personal color analysis?? I feel like you have such an eye for it and are really good at helping others see the difference between colors that work and colors that don’t. This was such a good video! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

WOW Bridget! Although I have never been professionally draped, I know that I am a BW like you. The nuance between BW and BS widens when compared side by side. You are beautiful❤️

I would love to see a comparison between Bright Winter and Deep Winter. I am having a hard time determining which one is best for me. I feel like I can borrow from some of the cool colors of Deep Autumn. I have rust, gold, and green in my eyes with a cool undertone to my skin, but I tan a very golden color on the surface. I do not look good in RED or YELLOW. But I can wear cranberry, pink, magenta, fuchsia, purple, teal, and blues. I look best in black with no makeup, and I prefer to see a more pinks in a natural, sheer or shiny color on my lips to bring out my eyes. Deep red or over saturated hues overpower me.

This is sooo interesting!!! It’s crazy how much color makes a difference. Bright winter is absolutely beautiful on you (I am also bright winter) and you can really tell the difference against the spring

I am a new BW and this is so true. Bsp does indeed look greasy on me and also orange turns me somewhat that.

wow another amazingly done video. right when you brought up that bright winter fushia i thought omg she instantly got a healthy flush and her skin looks amazing. the bright spring drapes and mu looked so 'other' on you. you looked so much sassier and clearer and vibrant in the bright winter. i love these comparisons bc it shows how dramatic the difference can be when you step outside your season color wise.

This was totally relatable. All my life I typed myself as a bright spring and it did work for me cuz I usually wore neutral vivid shades. It was only last yr I took a professional color analysis session and got typed as a bright winter. I'm so happy with my new found style now.

This is a great comparison, I like how you put a lot of effort into these videos. I have come to the conclusion that I am a Bright Winter and I find myself wondering if I may be a Bright Spring instead. However when I wear warm colors I begin to have more of a hue on my skin. I don’t like looking pale though so I thought the warmth really brought some color to me. I know my primary characteristic is bright. The brighter winter colors make my hair and eyes stand out and look deeper, overall my skin tone evens out from face to chest. I’m trying to become comfortable wearing the bright colors I’ve been afraid of.

Thank you. This is very evident on you. I’m having a hard time figuring myself out. Mostly because I don’t own the colors.

Why so sweaty, Bridget? lol. I love these videos! The bright spring side kind of gave you untrustworthy salesperson vibes, but when you wear your bright winter colours, you look like a fierce angel!
