RCF GT3 is derived from the road-going RCF that did not have a huge budget behind it like all of the racing programs do. It is a homologated car derived from the street variant with lots of modification. However, RCF GT3 has brought success to Lexus in ways that no other racing program in history of Lexus could. Despite not having billions of dollars in budget or a dedicated racing car platform like some of the supercars and other exotic GT3 cars do, it still goes toe-to-toe and wins races. Being an owner of an RCF carbon fiber and TVD variant of 7+ years, I can say this car is an amazing ownership experience and definitely aside from exotic LFA, the most high performing Lexus ever made tested to be capable of sustaining 1.00g continuously through a circle or RCF TE Nurburgring lap time of 7:48 with traffic by a non-pro-owner. It can be a practical luxury car or with a few button presses absolutely turn into a fire breathing beast pouncing at the next turn or eating up miles with authority. The high-revving V8 is the centerpiece of the experience and while the sun is setting on the RCF as the RCF GT3 racing program is wrapping up. It is now almost a decade old, but I have no doubts its legendary status and importance to the Lexus brand has already been cemented.

love the RCF, dont know why toyota/lexus stopped doing meaningful development for the machine to give it some proper updates. but im also looking forward for their new GT car coming out later this year or early next year.

After learning about this car, I realized how brutal the journos and the consumers equally are bad. The weight in the RC F is the chassis and the body rigidity, and the TVD's special bespoke factor paired with the superb stability on road and track. But the misunderstood consumer will never know it or feel as they go by the numbers on the M cars and others, the RC F program and what it did for Lexus at IMSA and LMGT3 is underappreciated. A real shame since Lexus is abandoning it and also they do not care much (downgrades since 2022 on-wards rather improvements and updates) as it sells in ultra low volume far less than LC 500. A legend. Relentless Pursuit of Perfection by Lexus LS was only carried over by the F program since IS F and the spirit of F is now carried over to RC F and continues to do so until 2026 when a successor will be coming. The new LFR GT3 won't have anywhere near the price of the RC F, it will replace even LC and price will shot 2x of LC. And also nowhere near any normal consumer. 2UR-GSE will be missed by a lot of fans, 17 year old heart still alive and racing... hope I can own an RC F one day.
