Good stuff : Fairly forgiving handling, good grip, one of the more beginner friendly GT3 cars

Not so good : Feels a little out of its depth against 'Vettes, Vipers and Lambos...

Compared to the Prototype GT3 RC F, this one feels more nimble, it feels mid tier to me, around the level of the Viper, Corvette and RS01 (I mostly race Mt Panorama without BoP). Compared to the top tiers at Mt Panorama like the 911 RSR, Beetle, 4C and 458 though the RC F just falls behind in every aspect, although top end speed is pretty on par with the Beetle, but acceleration is lacking. I don't race much in Gr. 3 anymore since Gr. 2 was added, but that's just my observation.

I always use the Lexus on Gr.3 but the car really shines on BOP. You are correct how sluggish it drives and how slow it is on the straight but for some reason it suits the way I drive. Overall, the car doesn't have any competition towards other gr3 cars since there are better options.

A lot of people dismiss this car just because the typical "Its another dupe" attitude without even trying the car out (that and the typical spoiled brat attitude just because they don't have their Bentley continentals or 488s). Having tried this back to back with the prototype that was in the game from release and honestly, your exact feelings about this car apply to the Prototype for me. Hell before the update, I tried racing it against other cars in the daily and it simply never stood a chance. I don't think I saw anyone use this (Apart from a friend or two). Whereas this car here is way better to drive. The way it rolls though the corner is way better, has much better forward bite and its actually got some much better top end. I've also actually seen this beat lambos, Vipers and Corvettes in the dailies (I even have the replay to prove it) so its clearly a capable car in the right capable hands. Really wish people would actually give the damn thing a try before just blindly dismissing it as "Another dupe" and "Typical PD, lol".

I'm going to make a gran turismo commemorative wrap for this car. I hope my brother is going to be happy with it. The wrap will have the game covers (if I can find them), some of the track logos from previous games, and, of course, gran turismo logos

as a Hardcore Lexus driver on GT Sport. I love the car but isnt like the proto who whit some adjustments is really competitive. this newer version feels slower in acceleration and the handling is heavier. compared to the old proto who really loves being pushed to the limit to make a really fast lap on the nurburgring. The newer GT3 Lexus doesnt like it. Still i love it but i keep my old reliable GT3 Lexus Prototype for serious racing and this one more for recreational laps.

This GT3 car should actually weigh a bit lower, by about 50kg at least since it has a lower amount of power on average compared to other cars.

I rmb in sport mode on certain track the top ten all use a Lexus

Some fair comments but cornering is not the strong suit of the car. The car is best for overtaking on long straights and it’s good if you break slightly early. It rewards by being fast and economically. I’ve gotten podiums with this car on circuits like Intelagos and Brands Hatch GP. It’s just down to early break and early but controlled throttle inputs.

Should have a update for small hot hatches like the pug 106 gti and saxo vts i think that would be cool

As I already am not a Lexus fan I will definitely skip this one unless I win this car.
