Missed opportunity to make the title " Microsoft really wants you to edge"

1. Because of the "news" page when you open an new tab
2. No one wants to set over all the data like bookmarks to edge because everyone except a few people are too lazy for that
3. It's not based on Firefox so it's harder for older PC's to run

I was unable to join a teams meeting through browser of a Microsoft event from Firefox.
Used edge it worked like a charm

I hate that it just puts a search bar on your desktop now.

A browser that extends this far into the OS and user experience is not to be trusted. Made by the OS manufacturer or not.

It’s all about password manager. Chrome is so many people’s password manager. That's why I am not switching.

Firefox nails all the important aspects for a browser, and the UI is so good... I love it since the first time I used it ❤️❤️

Too many ads is correct, I use adguard (a free but powerful adblocker) and throughout using chrome for 4 years, it’s blocked around 30k ads and I used edge for 6 months and it blocked 175k ads

Tbh, I think that Edge is a chromium-based browser that makes not much difference between Google Chrome and Edge in terms of performance and security. And also, Edge allows users to install third-party plugins on Google Chrome Web Store site. Edge itself also highly customizable.

So I think, for some reasons, people are still switching to other browsers because of the notoriety of IE in user community from the past brings back their memories from the old days.

Honestly edge isn't bad, but bing is, so as long as you change your default search engine on edge from bing to google you'll be fine

Because i want that continuity of whatever i read in both my android phone & windows laptop so i use Chrome in both. Continuity in the sense like search history, bookmarks, my search preferences things i like, etc.
Nothing against Edge browser it's actually good.
