To verify actual position based on the nominal transfer function, an intrusive monitors sweep is performed. When monitor entry conditions are met, the intrusive monitor for VGT fixes the EGR valve to a specific position, closes as the wastegate if any, then commands an inferred turbo position of 25%. Then 85% is commanded within a calibratable time. The minimum and maximum map values are saved and compared to a threshold. If the desired separation in map pressure isn't achieved, a fault is detected.

I bought the EEPV700 kit to diag forced induction. I’m extremely disappointed that the tool cannot data log vacuum and pressure, at the same time. I wanna hook the tool up to the intake manifold and boost the car and see the vacuum when I let off the throttle.
