In Fuchida's book, God's Samurai, he recounts how surprised he was at the quickness of the Americans response. When the Americans realize there were under attack they were quick to grab anything and try to fight back. He seemed to say that the Americans who realized they were under attack showed flexibility of thinking and did not necessarily need orders or directives the way that the Japanese would.
Fuchida learned what other foes have learned.
Americans thrive in chaos.

It’s crazy- Yamamoto told the Emperor’s war council they had 3-6 months to force America out of the fight- after Pearl Harbor, the Fall of the Philippines, and Coral Sea- it looked like that was going to happen but six months to the day- Midway happened and the rest as they say is history.

Boy that escalated quickly, I mean that really got out of hand fast.

I've never asked Japan to apologize for starting it. They shouldn't ask to apologize for ending it. It's war.

"Real Reason Japan Attacked Pearl Harbor.." How do you leave that part out?

While this was a quite good retelling of the attack on Pearl Harbor I heard nothing that addressed the tile of this video. It gave a little bit of the reason in history. So what was the real reason? Because this title implies there was another reason why they went for Pearl Harbor. One that was never revealed. It was just click bait.

In the end, Japan took a gamble that almost paid off. Had they given a formal declaration of war, or even explained their grievances, maybe the initial hatred could've been lessened.

But, it worked against Russia so, they thought America would suffer the same fate. But the industrial might of the US was only respected by Admiral Yamamoto...

Alternative title: how Japan's miscalculation caused them to lose the entire war.

We Americans didn't want bothered with WW2 and Japan found out why.

Do the USS Liberty next! Would love to see a fair and balanced telling of the events in animated format.

Have you done a "what if" video of the US discovering the attack on Pearl Harbor ??

Because of this, Japan was hit later with two atomic bombs. Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japan created their end in WW2.

Instead of offering a unique explanation for why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, the video provided a detailed account of the attack without presenting any new reasons beyond what is typically explained in a standard history class. The title of the video was clickbait, as the content did not address the title’s claim at all.

The battleship Utah was a demilitarized training ship. The guns were removed and the armor was cut off due to treaty limitations. The people who died on that ship were trainees.
