Enabling "HyperVisor Platform" stopped virtualisation software from working when I tried it last year. I believe it also affect VMWare Workstation.

I have got this enabled on Windows 10 too. No problems with performance.

Tried it and attempted the next step in Core Isolation and the response I got back was "Page Not Available - The page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available."

Here's the conundrun. while you can turn on the hypervisor an the virtual machine platform windows 10 home does not support core isolation for devices.

Thanks Brian but it failed because of ' 3 incompatible drivers' but my pc is only 1 month old!! Maybe you could do a follow up vid on how to resolve that. ? Many thanks for all you hard work.

In my case it says, "Memory integrity can't be turned on". Try resolving any inculpabilities with driver.

I did all of that Brian but when i try to enable memory integrity it says cannot enable because of incompatible drivers... How to remedy this???

How do I stop Windows 11 bugging me to change all the time, my last laptop died when windows 10 took over, the screen went black, I solved it after a week of fannying around, it was a Dell what ever, now I don't trust a Windows upgrade on the Dell laptop I got at the beginning of 2021. Why they can't just leave it alone, if it ain't broke please don't try n fix. Anyway, I thought Windows 10 was meant to be the last?

Thanks for that useful video, managed to configure it in the end, core found five old drivers but once removed core worked so worth the time spent for the reduction malware infections by 60%.

Why don't Microsoft enable this as default?

seems like a good idea to me. definitely for older people and the less tech-minded. and if there are no performance issues it's a win-win.

maybe windows needs an OAP mode

It seems there are some driver incompatibilities for some backup software. Acronis True Image and MSI Recovery are the ones I’ve seen.

Suggestion: Actually do 3 performance tests. One before even enabling the additional software, one with the software turned off, and one with it turned on. Biggest question I have is there a difference with the software installed or without it installed. I see a couple of people below saying it didn’t hurt turning it on but is there a difference not having the software installed versus just installing it?

The first fix actually made apps like my OMEN Gaming Hub software not work anymore and made internet browsing slower. Best to make a backup first.

After rebooting I type Core I get a pop up window stating " The page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available" I made sure the first step was completed ! Any ideas ? I'm using Windows 11 Pro

I run this features in windows 10 and I am Gamer and I tell all no fps ever got drop. runs fine.

Howdy from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Tried it on my HP laptop and I found it to perform slower than before. So I tried it off and it's ran faster. May just be a manufacturers issue why some find it showing things down. Thanks all the same as you're my go to fixer!
