Bounce man, Tank man and Snake man are part of Gear 4, so not really a scam since Gear 4 is when Luffy blows air into his Haki infused muscles. Gear 2 he rapidly increases his blood flow in his veins and Gear 3 is when he blows air in his bones. Gear 5, well... Devil fruit. So not really a scam, just different forms of Gear 4
