Stu Zender (along with Flea) is the main reason I started playing bass, and Paul Turner is incredible, but I've always felt that Nick Fyffe's work with them was/is massively under appreciated. Every musician who's ever played in Jamiroquai has been absolutely top tier.

I’m a metal guy who plays bass in a death metal band, but I loooove Jamiroquai. The funky jazz bass is awesome!

Paul Turner is a beast but goddam Stuart Zender is a force of nature.

I used to work in a music shop in Manchester and got the chance to spend a little time with Stu Zender when he came in for some kit. Very cool guy - sold him a Fender MIJ Bass VI and a fretless acoustic 5 string too

You need to make a second part . So many iconic lines are still out: canned heat, scam, return of the space cowboy, time won’t wait, use the force, love foolosophy.

So sweet of you to pay tribute to Derrick McIntyre. Shows you really care about the artists behind the art.

SPACE COWBOY!!! They have soooo many disgustingly amazing bass lines. Tightest rhythm section around. Huge influence and just such a cool band. Thanks for highlighting them!

Just Another Story definitely needed to be on this list. What a monster track that is. Jamiroquai deserves a part 2, so many bassy bangers from all the bassists involved.

So many Jamiroquai songs are treasure troves where (depending on which aspects you're looking for... groove, bass lines, phrasing, etc) you can just come back over and over and keep finding new parts to love and learn! ☮❤🎶

Stillness in Time, Cosmic Girl, Space Cowboy (stoned again) etc are bass masterpieces...

Zender was the hidden magic in Jamiroquai, it was one of my main inspirations when picking up the bass!!

The starting line on Manifest Destiny from Space Cowboy always stood out to me, could honestly make an hour long video for Jamiroquai songs hahah

Zender was with the band for 5 years from 1993 to 1998 - Paul Turner has been with them since 2005, so 19 years to date and what a mighty spectacular job he has done. Always keeps Stuart and Nick "under his hands" but respectfully adds his own groove! Paul Turner deserves a review of his own!

High Times, Canned Heat, Planet Home, Butterfly, Little L, You Give Me Something, Corner of the Earth, Love Foolosophy are all tracks you can't forget! Even if some are synth bass, they hit HARD!

So thankful that I got to see Jamiroqaui on the "Space Cowboy" tour at a small club in Boston called the Axis. I was front row and it was bananas!

Jamiroquai... Legendary! I couldn't believe Zender's bass play in the early 90s. Big love!
