Michael Cohen was convicted for this SAME CRIME and he was sent to prison even though his participation in this crime was for the benefit of Donald Trump....not the benefit of Michael Cohen. A punishment for this crime needs to be harsh enough to make an impression on Trump as well as be a deterrent to others. Community Service, monetary fines or home confinement just are not strenuous enough to deter a man who has been penalized in other cases but has not stopped the offending behavior.
