Easiest Fishing Loop Knot To Tie and Mistakes people make (Kryston Loop knot tutorial). Other great ones are Kreh's Loop knot, which is just a bowline knot variation, but this is definitely a tad bit easier for beginners! Next time I will show you how to Tie the Kreh's Loop knot!

I was a charter captain in FL for over 20 years and I have caught every big fish that swims in FL waters. There were only 2 knots I ever used. This loop knot, a single uni knot and a uni to uni. I have done seminars up and down the west coast of FL and I always taught the KISS theory. Keep It Simple Stupid. You don’t need to know all these other complex knots, trust me, I have tried them all and those two knots are all you need to know as a fisherman. They will never fail no matter how big the fish.

The smaller the knot the less fish will see that as well. I'll have to practice this one. I always used the Palomar knot but difficult to thread the doubled line throu a small eyelet jig/hook. Especially ice jigs. Thanx

Gk thru the half hitch once.. now form another half hitch and gently pull the tag end and main line, the upper half hitch will immediately slide over the bottom half hitch.. now you gently push the loop created to the size you want and pull the knot tight.. trjm the tag end... it's the smallest, cleanest, strongest loop knot known to man.. I've been using it for 45 years .. I've heard it called both the Mirrolure knot and the Rapala knot.. but it's definitely the best loop knot ever conceived..
