ODESA, UKRAINE - Welcome to the OUTSTANDING Odessa! (Odesa or Одеса in Ukrainian, Odessa or Одесса in Russian, in case you were wondering!). The next few videos will be from Odesa while I wait for my second Covid vaccine (I'm now fully vaccinated!). Are you ready to see what Odesa, a popular resort city, has to offer, even in December?! There's the story of the Battleship Potemkin at the Potemkin Stairs, an abandoned soviet cable car (not really abandoned, just closed for the winter I assume), beaches, monuments to Empress Catherine the Great, and more!

Ukraine (україни in Ukrainian, Украина in Russian) Travel or Tourism isn't on the agenda of many, but there's a lot to see! The Potemkin steps are an iconic landmark associated with cinema history, the art nouveau, renaissance and classicist architecture and history is divine, the Ukrainian food is great, and there's great night life down Deribasivska Street. Don't forget the Odesa Ballet and Opera Theatre, where you can witness classics such as Swan Lake and more. If you're wondering where to go in Ukraine or are looking for things to do or activities in Odessa, stay tuned for some more in future videos!

My thirst was well and truly quenched, beautiful architecture, old soviet cars, a gorgeous ginger pspsps, abandoned cable car, TRAMSPAM, you getting drowned going up a hill and walking into a tree basically perfection 🥰

I hope you enjoyed Odessa/Odesa! There are some more videos to come from here over the next week or so. Note that I KNOW the cable car is NOT abandoned! But it might as well have been!

You can check out the following if you like! -

I bloody love everything about this! The grey weather, the bleakness, the beautiful opera house and onion domed buildings, the not working cable cars, the cats, the music, the language! 😉 Awesome! Thanks David. ❤

I liked it after 10 seconds. I want to like it again for the next ten seconds and the next ten. The beauty overwhelmed. epic. astounding. Plus great musical score and production. I'm having to stop the video to enjoy the visuals and catch my breath. I laughed. I cried.

Wow that weather... Also, we think you dodged a bullet not getting on that cablecar, it's seen better days!

There is a city in the US also called Odessa I think is in Texas. Every place is full of History. The movie you mentioned in the video, I watched some fragments of it a few years ago when I was taking cinematography class in the University as a cocurricular class.
