Hi, I am your host Siddhartha! I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journeys from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys.

Hence was born The Neon Show (Earlier 100x Entrepreneur) to learn from founders and investors, the mindset to scale yourself and your company. This quest still keeps us excited even after 5 years and doing 200+ episodes.

We welcome you to our journey to understand what goes behind building a super successful company. Every episode is done with a very selfish motive, that I and Nansi should come out as a better entrepreneur and professional after absorbing the learnings.

💯 agreed. The movie celebrates that 1 person who makes it, which is awesome. But what about those thousands who don't? It's not like those school exams where everyone can pass. For 10 to celebrate, hearts have to break in silence which no movie shows. With steep aspirations, failures could be devastating.

People say students do not respect teachers these day
What about teachers discriminate weak students and do not talk to weak students
And talk to the toppers like they are God
If anyone is good at study does not mean theh are good human beings

Most people end up working in a call centre, there is no "way up".

It’s true tho, instead of wasting so many years of one’s life preparing for public service examinations, it’s better to go for a job and work your way up, rather than trying to ace an exam where your chances of making the cut is zero to none!

I studied for SSC CGL for 6 months.. its very tough.. I thought logically and went out of the race.. my GF said I am afraid .. but I know the probability of me getting a job is not worth the time and labour.. I am working in a MNC now.. I am happy..

Im so much depressed because I'm giving jee and all other competitive exams...for the past 1 year I lost my friends I became ill got chronic back pain always sitting and studying and at some point I got depressed and lost my motivation to study...but still worked to get good acore but the first attempt was bad...I got only 84 percentile, not even a cutoff and since Im general I got no chance in nits and iits...now Im more depressed losing all the fire within me and sticking to my phone all the time to help myself manage stress..I thought everything will be fine but everything got worse for me just to get a desired job to stable my life...now there is pressure from my parents relatives and neighbours...I don't know what to do anymore...my life is only getting surrounded by negativity

The selection criteria of civil service exams are probably 0.1 percent. There is nothing wrong in preparing and writing these exams. At the same time focus on yourself and do some job. I have seen my friends who had wasted many years of their precious time and later they got job at some private organisation

I agree with you about the competitive exams but saying 12th fail as bad would be cruel. The movie doesnt teach you about becoming a civil servant but it beautifully signifies that you work hard and put your soul and blood towards a goal and you are bound to acheive it. This is inspiratonal for viewers.

While it's all true but the fact is whenever there is a talk about government jobs, everyone starts criticising youth but whenever it comes to private jobs, no one shows guts to criticise harsh conditions of private jobs. You have here says capitalism is good but you also knows that the conditions of employees in those Bengaluru City companies. The initial pay is still 12k to 15k and the work hours are 10 to 11 hours and sometimes it goes beyond 12 hours.

Oh no, move out from top 5 cities of india
You will come to know how much influence even a clerk has on the govt offices which control entire aspects of life and business in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
First steps would be better checks and balances in govt job and independent audit of power and finances.
Cuz even bois at anti corruption can be influenced.
