I traded my V6 2020 Highlander with a 40th Anniversary 4Runner…happy with my decision…I will consider getting the Grand Highlander over the regular Highlander…

Sorry, Kirk. I tried getting a Grand Highlander but every dealer was charging a ridiculous amount for their “market adjustment” and “dealer addendum” for any Grand Highlander that they receive. I’m sure there are some folks that were able to buy their Grand Highlander for MSRP, but most people will likely face what I have faced trying to purchase a Grand Highlander.

Kirk, If the choice is between the Highlander and Crown Sport, I will choose the Crown Estate every time. 😉 In a contest pitting the Lexus NX against the Venza, the RAV4 Hybrid
wins easily.🤩

I have a 23 Venza Limited. The interior is nicer and quieter than the RAV4. The fuel economy is impressive and usually exceeds the EPA windows sticker numbers. My biggest issue being the smaller cargo area vs the RAV4. I am curious of the interior and cargo dimensions for the Crown Sport if Toyota decides to bring it to America.

With an exception for some folks, the Grand Highlander over standard Highlander is no brainer and I project the formidable Grand Highlander will out sell standard Highlander. Grand Highlander wins immediately just from looking from outside.

The Venza is nice, but the Highlander hybrid is significantly better in my opinion. What seems to be happening for 2024 is the Nightshade is replacing the Bronze. Do I have that right? I think the 18" wheels are just fine, and wouldn't want any larger wheel size. I will miss the L.

Waited almost a year for a platinum highlander hybrid. Dealer only got 1 in that year, and I wasn’t first in line. Found a GH hybrid limited at a nearby dealer for $1000 more than highlander. Talk about a no brainer. Love the GHH. Getting 35-36 mpg in mixed driving.

Wow, I didn't realize how often you upload, Kirk - per day! That is, until this week (I'm recuperating at home from some mystery virus, not testing positive for the usual culprits, oh well! Feeling better finally!). Really appreciate the latest car news, as well as your insights and analysis. I also love the Nori Green on the Lexus products, really wish there are more classic green paint options out there for the non-luxury products. My dad bought a new Camry XLE in 1995, and it was the classic forest green with beige interior, which I think most Camrys of that era had. He finally replaced it with a hybrid Camry XLE in bright red AND a hybrid Highlander (for my mom) in 2012, in the light blue. But the 95 Camry was sooo cool, and I was lucky enough that he let me drive it! Thanks for all you do!

I understand the “just get the grand Highlander” point but some people might want a smaller 3-row, you know just something that they can use in case of an emergency, and the Highlander’s interior is way more premium than the RAV4, plus if you live in NYC, where everything is right, a GH might be too big

Grand is too big for me and my garage. I have an older regular highlander AWD, which I love. I’m waiting for 2025, hopefully a big exterior update, which is definitely needed. PS, I will never own a sedan again.

The normal Highlander has bolstered and beautifully gracious curves compared to the large fridge shapped 📦 world the car designers are all moving too. Its the normal highlander through and through 😅
