Really enjoying this review of the components of the swing! This approach is really clearing up some gray areas in my thought process! Stay and healthy! Thanks!

May be the most important idea I've ever heard. Need to try it out.

Just what I needed to see after watching my hips still getting it wrong on video today. Once that right hip gets back it needs to learn to stay/fall back as the pelvis centres itself and then the left hip can use the right hip as a hinge to open up to target from. I understand it, it’s just a matter of time, drills and awareness until my body does too. I suspect that some of the muscles groups aren’t currently strong enough or firing properly to do what needs to be done so it’s making compensatory movements using the wrong muscles and repeating old patterns. Any suggestions from Ed?

Excellent video, perfect visuals with good explanations. It is a fine divide to co-ordinate verbal/visual information but as always I find that you seem to hit the right content every time. I liken this video with one of you others 'How to get an awesome impact every time.' Keep up the good work and I'll keep practising.😊

I had an idea for a video a minute ago Sir Heritage. I am somewhat struggling with how steep or shallow I should choose to make my entire swing arc in the backswing and the downswing. I'm personally having much better ball flight with a shallower arc, but you see people like bubba Watson be really successful with a steeper arc. I just would like some guidance in reconciling this problem. Thank you for all your great videos. I've learned a whole lot from them. Stay safe and we're with yall here in Dublin Georgia, USA.

I agree that keeping the weight back early in the downswing makes rotation much easier.I find it helpful to keep my head back without moving my hips leftward on the downswing. This helps keep the pressure on my right foot early in the downswing. Another setup trick is is to exaggerate the external rotation of the left femur by turning the left foot towards the target.

The Floating Leg is a micro move like a momentary Fall. For me, I like the feel as if my Right Glute Falls slightly toward my Left Heel. This puts Hips the in line to Square. Think of a car. The rear wheels track just inside of the front wheels in a turn. If the power comes on to early, you spin out. The Fall loads the Right Side properly, prior to the left side Pivot. Good stuff my friend.

Yep, something I worked hard on last year, pivot back into a squat position and then push off into the lead leg

Hi Russel, what do you think of Tiger's "new" swing: tilt the left leg and stretch the right one in the bs then simply turn in the downswing?

I’ve been working on improving the hip movement, and think there’s progress. But, I can’t seem to get to a finish position where all the weight is on my left side, and I’m up on the toes of my right foot. Can you suggest something?

Would it be best to get the foot work & hip turn the top priority over the upper body work?

Well then my problem is that I thought weight on my left and turning were mutually exclusive.
