I’m loving Mario’s character arc. He is retaining his funny and outlandish personality while gaining something of a conscious and knowing when something is going to far. But even then, he’s constantly being verbally and physically abused by his friends. His insanity is nigh.

I was expecting a special video for Saiko’s 5 Year Anniversary but this works. Everyone loves fishing but Bob and Mario have to learn about the limitations of how many fish they can catch to avoid overfishing.

The fact that Mario has second thought on catching ever fish really said something. The only reason he wanted to catch fish was so he wasn't bored (also 'cuz he's hungry) and him realizing his mistake was interesting.

I think it's funny how Meggy said that she has a thing for marine life but Inklings and Octolings canonically eat sea creatures that haven't evolved into a humanoid form like them. I mean, look at the snacks that Crusty Sean sells in Splatoon 2 or the snacks that the marigold sells in Splatoon 3. They're all seafood. I don't think it's cannibalism but it's still funny that Meggy said that.
