Could We Build Master Chief's Armor TODAY?

Nothing is more iconic than Master Chief in his Olive Drab Green MJOLNIR armor. It's what makes the Chief, Chief, and it's what gave him the ability to take down the Covenant, the Flood, and even the Banished. But is that some thing we can actually build today? Join me this week as we explore how MJOLNIR is described in Halo, what we have that's comparable today, and how we might be able to make a set of armor today!

If you have any questions or comments, leave them in the comments section below. I'd love to hear from you!

I love the part where the VA would still not give the soldier benefits bit

*There’s a YouTuber called Installation 00 that’s doing just that right now.*

The armor would be super uncomfortable and hot because in the military we don’t care about making the soldier comfortable we only care about functionality ac will always be an afterthought.

I am gonna make a gripe, just because I found it funny. NOT BECAUSE THIS IS BAD MIND YOU!
But when he starts off with "Nothing is more iconic in Halo than the armour Master Chief wears" and shows us the least iconic armour that he has ever worn.
I just found it a lil funny.
Outside of this, the fact you really went that in depth with the lore, to real life comparisons and what we could do to improve or match what is shown is always fascinating. Keep it up!

Amazing how I've gone from imagining I'm Master Chief during my childhood to realizing that I may actually become Master Chief in the future. Just need to take care of my back and knees before the VA declares my Halo dreams as 'not service related'!

I Have to say this Titanium and its alloys have some of the highest, strength to Weight ratio, of Metals/alloys not strength to Volume which is more belonging to steel. The strongest steel alloys, leave the strongest titanium alloys in the dust.

The one problem I have with energy shielding in sci-fi, is the fact that energy shields would realistically be useless against kinetics, here's how defense should go in sci-fi: armour for kinetics and energy shields for energy weapons.

I was just imagining how it feels for the chief to get that armor off after a month or two of killing everything that moves. And how it smells.

Um AKs fire 7.62 rounds which can also be used for long distance depending on the cartridge.

It would really be nice if I see a spartan, towering over me of a sign of hope

If you're looking for more inclusive details than just this go to 00 installation. That guys goes into deep death and he breaks down the armor in every single corner and peace and granite

Spot on about the VA 🤣 I’m still fighting for what I got med-boarded out for

Oh likely maybe something like that may already exist. But it's gonna cost alot of money... and top secret black budgeting and blacksite projects.

Exoskeletons armor is probably my favorite.

1:30 this is only really possible for 3s as they can lock their armor which which makes their shields stronger

We could utilize a Liquid Metal system that was created in early 2000s

Depending on the factors such as angle of attack, if you get slowed down on the way, the time it took to completely stop, the surface your hitting, and the gel layer, yes, you could survive falling from space. I mean, chief did survive a fall from 2 kilometers and it is very possible to survive that, even without being a super soldier and/or the mjolnir suit. People have survived falls from higher than 2 kilometers in the air. You'd definitely be rattled up and you won't just walk that off but it's doable.

It's possible I already found fireproof material and now it's the fact of mixing polymers in certain materials and technology mixed in with AI

Ceramic is good for one shot but multiple shots will penetrate titanium will stop multiple shots

China’s already achieved a miniaturized fusion battery. So that’s the power source down.

It could work but not the biology people slicing part because most combat armor the military has today could be heavily modified to resemble in game armor while staying simple and offering more protection at the cost of slighty less mobility
