I am married to a turkish cypriot. They have exactly the same signs. In general you guys have much in common.

Very helpful. I mistook the 'head thrown to the back' gesture for a long time and didn't know it means actually "No". In my homecountry it means: "Yes, no problem".

Is Greek sign language the official language on the Greek Cypriot side? The Wikipedia article says it's a combo of American & Greek sign language.
