A deaf archaeologist Dimitra Kokevi-Fotiou shows us the names of the Greek Gods in Greek Sign Language. Special thanks to Lia Spyrou and her Greek Sign Language teacher colleagues for their help.

Μία κωφή αρχαιολόγος από την Αθήνα, της Ελλάδας μας δείχνει τα ονόματα των Δώδεκα Θεών του Όλυμπου στην Ελληνική Νοηματική Γλώσσα.

Hi! I am sorry I do not know the Greek sign for Hades but perhaps someone else will put up a new lot of signs. Hope you enjoy these ones.

This is so awesome, thank you! Is there a corresponding video with BSL names for the Gods? This is really cool and helpful, but this is the only video I've ever managed to find that gives this exact information, and I'm still unsure of what the signs are in BSL (formally/officially). I just want to avoid using GSL in the place of missing BSL vocabulary, even though I find these signs to be extremely good at clearly identifying each God or Goddess based on their attributes!

Hi! Do you know how I could get in touch with Dimitra, or whether there is information about her online? I would love to add her on the list of Deaf Archaeologists to spotlight and I cannot seem to find anything about her. Hope to hear from you sooner than later. Thanks so much! :D
