How long is the A2 English test valid for?
UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires non-EEA nationals to pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in speaking and listening at level A2 after two and a half years in the UK, in order to qualify for further leave to remain on the five-year partner or parent route to settlement.
The A2 test qualifications is the Latest requirements for UK Home Office visa applications made for Further Leave to Remain (visa extension), required two and a half years after passing an A1 test.
The A2 test qualification only last for 2 years.
After 2 years you will need to retake the exam.
