A lot of people actually think the fruit is super unsweetened and bitter, I used to think the same but when I tell you it’s one of the best fruits to ever put in your mouth it’s like candy! The bitter cocoa actually comes from the inner seeds! The white stuff on the outside of the seed is super sweet but after that, the seeds are grounded into the bitter cocoa powder we all know and love!(rhetorically)

It taste so good too. It taste like a weird sweet candy. In order for it to become chocolate, you have to let the seeds ferment, then bake the seeds, then get the nibs and crush them down into a powder and add vanilla to it. Then put it into a mold and freeze it until it’s hard. Ready to serve. That snapping sound of perfect fresh chocolate is so satisfying when you break it apart.
