Great honesty! Like you, I work hard to have a slim bod, but some trends are just for teens. (like SHEER PANTS. No.) I am a former fashion exec (retired I indulged in a pair of baggy barrel jeans. My friends have fun teasing me about them and we call them my "fashion victim" pants. I am a jeans fanatic and I think maybe my superpower is I can make almost any pair of jeans work, well...in one outfit at least haha.😁I love hair accessories, and I challenge you to rethink the bow trend. You have such beautiful flowing hair, you could do a quarter-up with a classic black velvet bow, it would be fierce AF. .... Or an ivory velvet bow that's super subtle. I challenge you! 🎀

Would love to see a video featuring the “Mob Wife” trend. I got a solid color quilted Free People tote for Christmas, and I LOVE it. (I overpack mine, too!) Love “Preppy” style! Dolce is such a cutie! I visited my cousin a few days ago, she has a pair of Maltese named Dooney & Bourke! ♥️

I think the leather shorts are a "safer" option than the miniskirt and give the same vibe. At 67, I can see myself wearing the shorts with tights but not the miniskirt. To each their own! 😊

I agree with you. I recently brought out my large vuitton bag which I love. But I felt frumpy and went back to my smaller one. My back is happy.

I personally like any trends that show ladies looking good, appreciate folks taking pride in the way they look. My pet peeve is ladies dressing in pajamas and going shopping looking like they just got out of bed. Grew up with a mother that insisted that we changed our clothes to "going out in public" clothes. Clean, not wrinkled, hair combed out or up in ponytail, bun or take an iron to if your felt like it. She made it fun and always pointed out the best traits a person has. Sunday was dress day for church, shoes and purse matching. Ha Ha, I remember wanting to wear my white dress shoes in November and my mom said, "honey it's fall you'll get your pretty shoes ruined" (she would not scold or make me feel like I was wrong but, would point out a reasonable reason why it wouldn't be a good idea. she did make me feel like I was making a decision not to wear them myself). She was sneaky like a fox that way. I understand so much more now 50 years later. Our mothers really do influence us.

Thank you so much for your content. I really do enjoy it. I love that you have a more mature approach to fashion, and that you let us know most important thing is that we feel good about ourselves when we wear the clothes we choose to wear. I also like that you advocate that if something doesn’t feel good when you’re wearing it it’s OK not to like it just because it’s a trend or on the racks -so thank you.
I will pray for you I was in a very toxic marriage for many years I had to fight for my life to get out of it. The wreckage I had to clean up, was insurmountable with the grace of God, help of my peers, and getting myself involved in a community that was like minded, saved my life. I do like a 13” wide handbag, but do not like to carry around anything larger than that everyday. The crossbody bags or small 11” or less bags are too small, unless I’m traveling.

Love all you choices and non choices! I can’t wear some of your choices because I’m 5’2 and they would overwhelm me but you look awesome in all of them, especially that form fitting outfit with the fur jacket, absolutely gorgeous on you! Heels with socks? They’re never right! Just like those oversize padded jackets that always remind me of Addams Family monster who looks good in them only because he’s eight feet tall. As far as those preppy layers, only one person can get away with them, and that is the late Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. Thanks for all your great ideas! I’ll be tuning in.
