Why I don't set language goals anymore (and what I do instead)

Hi and welcome! I'm Tanya and the only thing I like more than learning languages is probably talking about learning languages (well, that and hoarding language books).
My native language is Russian and I'm currently in different stages of learning English, Spanish, Polish, Italian, Korean, and Japanese.

Super interesting point of view. I think this is useful not only for perfectionists but for everybody. Even if you have the perfect method or material, one of the things I found is that it gets tedious over time. Language learning has to be consistently interesting for us to be able to acquire a language. Your project-based approach is also flexible for different types of students. I think you have a really good idea here. I'll try it out when teaching and when learning languages. Thank you very much.

Great video, Tanya. I keep my projects plain and simple. Whenever I find a book, I finish it (no time limit, at my own pace). I've been studying Japanese and have already read 10+ short novels this way...focusing on Manga more this year.

Hi, i just found your YouTube channel and watch some videos about your learning languages process. Its really help. I am struggling with learning English. I’m from Poland, and I think that Polish is so difficult. A lot of people have a problem with grammar and ortography, so at school we study a lot about it. Sorry, but I’m just 14 so my English isnt good ☹
